In the name of Jesus, I renounce the indoctrination in the “Opus Dei spirit” that has turned spirituality into dogma and I renounce the practicing of the “modes of the Opus Dei prelature”, Opus Dei’s methodologies and the written contractual bond I signed to join the Opus Dei organization.
I
renounce and break all oaths, vows, covenants and word curses of Opus Dei that
are on me and my future generations.
This
renunciation includes, but is not limited to, the following curses:
Legalism,
unbelief of the finished work of Jesus at Calvary, rejection of grace, striving
to win God’s love, striving to reach holiness and perfection in one’s own
efforts and striving to reach Heaven based on merit and good works.
I
renounce and break all religious bondage, religious slavery, religious
dominance, religious apathy, lack of compassion and the rigid theology of Opus
Dei.
I
cut all soul ties with the Opus Dei founder, JosemarĂa Escrivá de Balaguer, the
Prelate, supernumeraries, numerary directees, numerary assistants, counseling
priests and I renounce all demons attached to Opus Dei and their leaders in the
name of Jesus. Amen!
